Be upwardly mobile with NCL’s free upgrades!

London, 04 March 2008… NCL is taking guests to the next level with its ‘Move on Up’ spring savings promotion, which enables them to upgrade their stateroom for free.

Guests booking between 1 March and 30 April 2008 will be automatically upgraded to the highest grade stateroom available within the category they book, whether it is inside, oceanview or oceanview with balcony – at little or no extra cost.

It also makes spoiling themselves that little bit easier, as for just £10 per person per cruise guests can enjoy an upgrade from an oceanview with balcony stateroom to a luxurious mini-suite.

Savings of up to £130 per person are on offer as part of the promotion which applies to 2008 Europe, Alaska, Caribbean and Hawai’i departures from May 2008, on cruises lasting five nights or more.

Examples of savings include:

Save up to £111 per person when booking an inside stateroom on a seven-night Western Mediterranean Fly-Cruise on board Norwegian Gem, departing Barcelona on November 9, 2008 with a potential upgrade of five categories. Was priced from £830pp, now priced from £719pp.

Save up to £130 per person when booking an oceanview stateroom with balcony and for an extra £10 per person be upgraded to a mini-suite, based on a seven-night Western Mediterranean fly-cruise on board Norwegian Gem, departing Barcelona on September 14, 2008. Was priced from £1,360pp, now priced from £1,220pp.

Stephen Park, General Manager, NCL UK said: “This is a great opportunity for existing customers and new to cruiser guests to get on board with us and sample ‘Freestyle Cruising’ which is all about giving our guests the flexibility to do as little or as much as they like, as NCL’s ships have no set dining times or dress codes.”

2008 sees the largest number of NCL cruises departing from the UK with Norwegian Jewel based in Dover, and sailing to the Baltic, the trendy St Petersburg and increasingly popular Tallinn. New ship Norwegian Jade will sail out of Southampton and will be travelling to destinations including the Mediterranean and Norway.
