NCL CORPORATION APPOINTS SCOTT ROGERS AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING AND SALES London 19th August 2005: NCL Corporation has announced the appointment of Scott Rogers as the company’s Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales reporting to Andy Stuart, Executive Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Passenger Services. In this new position, Rogers will oversee the marketing and sales departments focusing on brand positioning and brand building through advertising, direct mail, collateral, market research, travel agent support, and trade communication programs. “We have a great product in NCL and have differentiated ourselves from the rest of the industry with Freestyle Cruising. We now have a unique opportunity to build upon that brand positioning not only in the cruise industry but in the leisure segment as a whole,” Stuart said. “With Scott’s experience in handling billion dollar consumer brands, he is a great fit to take our marketing and sales to the next level.” Prior to joining NCL, Rogers spent 13 years at Procter & Gamble (P&G) across the company’s Beauty Care Global Business Unit and in the North American Market Development Organization. While at the company, he led three of Procter & Gamble’s Beauty Care billion dollar brands, including Pantene, Head and Shoulders and Olay. Rogers was also the first Marketing Director to work on the Target customer team, where he led the development and execution of all marketing plans across the P&G brands. “It’s an exciting time to join NCL and I look forward to further developing the powerful combination of a consumer led brand message coupled with the strength of the company’s travel agent relationships to grow the NCL business,” Rogers said. Rogers graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Hotel Administration.
