London 22 July 2005: NCL (Bahamas) Ltd (NCL) today announced the appointment of Tony Tabner as National Sales Manager UK & Ireland for Norwegian Cruise Line, NCL America and Orient Lines beginning 25th July.

Tabner replaces Nick Wilkinson who was recently promoted to the position of Head of Sales for NCL.

Tabner will be reporting directly to Nick Wilkinson and will lead the team of Regional Sales Managers. “We are delighted to welcome Tony to NCL, “Wilkinson said. “His wealth of experience will bring new dynamics to the already strong UK Sales Team.”

Prior to joining NCL, Tabner held a number of leading positions within the trade, including UK Sales Manager for P&O European Ferries, Sales Director with Meon Travel and Sales Manager with Inghams Holidays. His new position at NCL will involve various responsibilities such as the organisation of the Regional Sales Team.

Tabner commented, “I am thoroughly looking forward to joining NCL and working with the Sales Team. I am delighted to be part of such a strong Sales department and relish the challenge of contributing to the company’s growth.”

In addition to Tabner, NCL have announced the promotion of Lucy Hone to the position of Tour Operator Account Manager, starting 1st August. Lucy has been part of NCL’s development of its tour operator business and partnerships and will now be reporting directly to Tony Tabner.

Tabner commented, “To ensure continued growth with our Tour Operator partners we now require a level of expertise and experience that Lucy clearly possesses. I am delighted that she will be supporting me in my new role at NCL”.
