NCL ANNOUNCES NEW GOLF HAWAII PROGRAMME
FOR PRIDE OF ALOHA
London, May 6, 2004: Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the Freestyle Cruising specialist, has today announced the creation of a comprehensive shore side golf programme, complete with the first golf pro shop at sea, for the new Pride of Aloha.
NCLs new Golf Hawaii Programme further highlights Hawaii as a major golfing destination and will offer golf outings to championship courses on all four main islands, including Koolau on Oahu; Poipu Bay and The Prince Course on HauaI; Mauna Lani Resort and Hapuna Golf Course on the Big Island of Hawaii; and Paualua and Wailea on Maui. US flagged Pride of Aloha means Guests can enjoy inter-island cruising without the need of having to visit a foreign port, maximising the time available for golf.
Hawaii is a fantastic location for golf enthusiasts and combining this with cruising creates the perfect way to visit the surrounding islands and different courses. The new Pro Shop will be the industrys first dedicated pro shop at sea and will provide all that is needed for a great golf experience in Hawaii, the ultimate golfing destination. The ship will feature top-of-the-line golf equipment including Callaway clubs and Adidas shoes for rent; guaranteed tee-times and NCL Golf Hawaii logo items for purchase including Callaway apparel, Top-Flite and Callaway balls; gloves and hats. The shop will also feature onboard clinics with local golf pros and three practice nets.
