At NCL, our purpose is very clear: challenge traditional cruise conventions so that we can deliver the most liberating experience at sea for our guests. I'm proud of the fact that our innovative onboard experience offers vacationers freedom from the stress and demands of everyday life and freedom to enjoy a relaxed, resort style experience on their own terms.
We've built NCL with innovation as our guiding principle. It's evident in everything we've done over our 40-year history. Here are just a few examples of NCL firsts:

All of these innovations have led us to where we are today:
With our signature Freestyle Cruising, we turn traditional cruising on its head by having no fixed dining times, no formal dress codes, relaxed disembarkation, up to 10 different restaurants and even more lounges, bars, theatres and other entertainment and activity options. All nine new NCL and NCL America ships introduced since 2001 have been designed or purpose built for Freestyle Cruising, offering the flexibility and variety that our guests want;
Once our newest ship is delivered in late 2007, over 80 percent of our capacity will be on big, new and modern ships. By 2010, NCL will offer by far the youngest fleet in the industry. We've also just announced plans to build up to three new third generation Freestyle Cruising ships that will take us to a whole new level when they are introduced starting in 2009. With our NCL America fleet of three ships -- Pride of Aloha, Pride of America and Pride of Hawai'i -- dedicated to year-round Hawai'i inter-island cruising, we are the only cruise line that offers guests the opportunity to visit all four of Hawai'i's main islands on one seven-day cruise;
Finally, NCL ships are deployed in all major cruise destinations, including Alaska, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Caribbean, Europe, Hawai`i, Mediterranean, Mexican Rivera and New England. We sail from a variety of homeland cruising ports, including New York, Boston, Charleston, Honolulu, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Vancouver.
