How to Book with NCL Freestyle Cruising
Now you're ready to book and it couldn't be simplerAt NCL we like to keep things as easy as possible, that’s why we’ve done away with lengthy Reservation Forms. So, all you have to do is go through this checklist, make sure you have all the correct information to hand, then call NCL or see your travel agent and you’re all set.
Some of the information, such as Dover or Southampton transfers or holiday extensions, may not apply to your holiday. And, if that’s the case, just let us know as we take you through the booking process. Before you book, take a moment to read through the Frequently Asked Questions, and the Booking Conditions. Because when you book, you’re agreeing to enter into a contract with NCL on these Booking Conditions on your behalf and on behalf of everyone included in the reservation. Once you’ve made your booking, we’ll give you an NCL reservation number, which you’ll need to quote any time you call or write to us. Let's book itThis is the information you’ll need: 1. CruiseShip name UK departure date Number of nights.
2. Stateroom or suiteStateroom or suite category Double bed or twin beds.
3. Personal details for each guest travellingFull name and title as shown on passport Date of birth Passport number, date and place of issue and expiry date Home address, including postcode, telephone number and email address Emergency contact details – the name and telephone number of someone we could contact while you are away – and next of kin Latitudes membership number (if applicable).
4. Cruising from the UKDo you need one of the following UK Connections? Either FREE car parking at Dover or Southampton, or FREE Coach transfers from Central London, London Heathrow or Gatwick to Dover or Southampton, or FREE Coach transfers to/from Southampton airport to ship. Your chosen “Cruising from the UK” offer must be requested at the time of booking. If any request is accepted after this, an administration fee of £35 will be payable. Unfortunately, UK connections cannot be added within 4 days of the holiday departure date.
5. UK Connecting FlightsPlease advise which airport you wish to fly from (excluding Cruise Only holidays). Your connecting flight must be within 24 hours of your international flight. Please note we cannot guarantee airline seats. Let us know if you have a frequent flyer membership number for the airline you are flying with (please note that airline membership upgrades are not available and airline points and rewards cannot be used towards the cost of your holiday).
6. Extend your stayIf you'd like to extend your stay, please tell us: Name of hotel, or Name of tour Number of nights UK departure date for pre-cruise extensions Room type Car hire upgrade, if required, on car hire packages in Orlando or Spain.

8. Special occasionsBe sure to let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion. We need to know: Date of occasion during your cruise If it’s a birthday, the date of birth If it’s a wedding anniversary or honeymoon, the date of the wedding. Plus, which celebration package you’d like. Click here for more details. Book before 28 February 2009 and enjoy selected packages with our compliments. After this date, prices start from £29.

10. Travel insuranceDo you require NCL travel insurance? Click here for details If you have your own insurance, please advise name of alternative insurer, policy number and 24-hour emergency contact details.
11. Payment details You can pay by cheque, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diners, Solo, Switch or Maestro. If paying by card, we require the following information: Card number, Name on card, Expiry date and Three digit security code on back of card (four digit number on front of your card for American Express). To confirm your chosen holiday, we need a deposit as shown here*
The balance of the holiday cost must be received by us not later than the balance due date, which is 60 days before the start of the holiday for all cruises (full payment for categories AE, Garden Villas & Courtyard Villas is required 90 days before). The balance due date will be shown on the confirmation invoice. Full payment will be taken for British Airways flight upgrades to Europe at time of booking.
Here's what happens once you've bookedNCL will send you or your travel agent (as applicable) a booking confirmation showing full details of your holiday and the fare payable. Please check this carefully and, if there are any discrepancies, please let us know immediately by calling NCL Guest Services on 0845 658 8140. Otherwise administrative charges may apply to any alteration that can be made. Then, about two to three weeks before departure NCL will send your cruise documentation to you or your travel agent or via email. This includes all applicable tickets, vouchers, luggage labels and your ‘Welcome Aboard’ booklet. Guests wishing to pre-book or view shore excursion information can do so online - at www.ncl.co.uk/shorex
And before you leave homeFantastic. The next thing you really must do is go to the ‘Already Booked’ section of the website and click on ‘Online Check In’, where you can check-in online, which saves time, pen-pushing and keeps things simple. You must do this at least four days before sailing and you’ll need your booking reference and passport details to hand. It also means that you can complete check-in at the cruise terminal up to one hour before the departure time noted on your cruise documents, rather than at least two hours before. As you can see, it makes sense to Advance Register anyway you look at it, so why not do it now.

The information you provide when making a reservation may be used to provide you with periodic NCL (Bahamas) Ltd cruise updates and special offers and we ask that you advise us if you would not like to receive these. Personal details will not be disclosed by NCL to third parties outside of NCL (Bahamas) Ltd for marketing purposes without the guest’s express permission.
