| Brilliant - thoroughly enjoyed our trip! |
March 2010 flew to Barcelona joined Norwegian Jade and settled in with the help of the crew, the choice of food in the Garden Cafe was always great and when we felt like dressing up we went to the Grand Pacific dining room and then on to a show in the fantastic Stardust Theatre. Brilliant - thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

| The added benefits of direct flights from our regional airports in the UK are a real bonus. Well done NCL. |
This was the 2nd time we had sailed on the Gem but this time we took advantage of the direct flights being offered with Jet2 from regional airports in the UK to Venice. A good transfer to the port saw us embarking around 12.30 and we headed to the Grand Pacific main dining room for a leisurely lunch. Most people took lunch in the Garden cafe buffet so we had a lovely window table to enjoy our lunch. Having been up since 3am and starting to flag we headed for the Spinnaker Lounge which has wonderful day beds and there we took a short nap! The room was ready when we woke and our bags were delivered by 4 or 5pm. Weather was dry and sunny as you would expect in the Med in June and continued all week. Highlights for me were Dubrovnik and Napflion both reached by tender. However by the time we reached Napflion the temperature was 100 degrees. The ship was well presented and staff most helpful. We only used the speciality restaurants once as the food in the Grand Pacific was really good. Better we thought than when we sailed 6 months ago. Indeed one couple we met who was sailing NCL for the first time remarked that he felt the food and choice offered was better than other cruise lines. With such hot weather, shade was at a premium on the ship and we often went back to our cabin to enjoy the peace of the balcony. We disembarked at 08.30am with an NCL transfer and our flight left at 11.30am so we were straight to the airport to check in. Again an excellent Jet2 flight. No complaints at all - it is a lovely 7 night cruise that can be extended by a further 7 nights to take in the Greek Islands if so wished. The NCL Freestyle concept really suits us completely. The added benefits of direct flights from our regional airports in the UK are a real bonus. Well done NCL.

| It was a super holiday |
It was our 1st cruise; it was lovely. We tell every one about it - we were sorry we didn’t get to Bergen; we did the Norway trip on the train, which was nice but hard as I have MS (difficult getting on/off the train. It was a super holiday and staff and food was good. We have been with PO since but very poor not again..we are running out of time but we do hope to go with you again some time. Thank you.

This was our first cruise with NCL, and we enjoyed every minute of it!. The ship was amazing and even more so was the crew, always happy and ready to help. The food was top class in all the free restaurants, and I was amazed that in these restaurants you could even get Lobster & Fillet Steak! The on-shore trips were of very good quality and extremely enjoyable, even though we had a few weather problems due to the time of year. I recommend NCL to all, it was our best holiday ever and we can't wait to book our next NCL cruise!

| Fantastic time, we enjoyed everything about it |
Dec 2008, 10days Canaries from Barcelona, for my birthday. Our 2nd cruise with NCL, we loved the 1st one so much we booked this one less than two weeks after returning home! Fantastic time, we enjoyed everything about it, love the Jade, great itinary, exellent staff, my birthday in Madeira was fantastic, made even better when the lovely staff in the Asian restaurant surprised me with a cake and "Happy Birthday". Counting the days til our next one, March 19th 2010, 21days on the Jade, cant wait!

Truly a fantastic experience with first class service and extremely dedicated staff. All was wonderful starting from the friendliness, restaurants, cleanliness, things to do etc...NCL keep it up. After sailing NCL, I shall consider no other cruise ships!! Abbreviation: IRON PARADISE ON SEA!! :))

| We are now devotees of NCL |
Recently returned from the Black Sea cruise. It was totally wonderful, the ship was magnificent and although we had fairly cheap cabins they were excellent too. But by far the excellence was typified by the crew, each and every one cheerful and helpful to the extreme. This was our first cruise with NCL but not our first cruise. We are now devotees of NCL.

| Would we do it again... oh yes! |
First ever cruise, we booked a romance suite as it was our honeymoon and it was faultless... the whole week was an amazing experience and set very high standards and the on board environment made it so relaxing. Booking a suite meant we had exclusive access to Cagney’s for breakfast and Lunch and I must say it meant eating was far more relaxed (great egg benedict)... we did use the Freestyle restaurants and the food was really good too but enjoying the food in the busy areas was not easy so we tended to go back to the cabin. We thought the excursions were a little pricy but it was quite easy to arrange our own itinerary using local transport, the on shore guides provided and staff advice was really good.... would we do it again... oh yes!

| Crew and staff could not do enough to make us welcome and comfortable |
Cruised from Southampton on 9 Aug to Eastern Med. Had a marvellous trip. Crew and staff could not do enough to make us welcome and comfortable. Entertainment excellent (Los Locos and La Acrobatique in particular). Food delicious as usual and we used the Garden Cafe almost exclusively (seating arrangements could be improved). Cost of wines and drinks in general were prohibitive and I suggest NCL stock up with more wine at supermarket prices which would go down well with Brits. Taking of photographs at gangways slowed exit from ship and children's curfew of 1am is far too late. Well done NCL, we will cruise again soon.

| Completely spoilt for choice |
Western Mediterranean to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the charm of Malta, the charm of Sorrento, the history of Rome, the culture of Florence and the chic of the French Riviera it had it all. Completely spoilt for choice. On board fine dining, excellent entertainment and romantic moonlit nights strolling around the deck just watching the world go by completely oblivious to how many people were on board, it just seemed you were in a world of your own under the stars. You wonder how you fit it all in in such a hectic schedule yet the pace was relaxing, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Ending the cruise with our anniversary package there was a complete surprise in teh restaurant, a totally unexpected cake from the staff, nothing had been too much trouble. And we thought Alaska had it all!

| Our first cruise and we are absolutely hooked |
Jan/Feb 2009 Eastern Mediterranean 12 nights cruise from Barcelona on the Jade. Our first cruise and we are absolutely hooked. My husband and I and our two adult daughters. Everything about the cruise was fabulous, the ship - we fell in love with the Jade and wish we were still on her. We took several of the port excursions including the overnight in Cairo. I was scared we would come back with some terrible tummy bug but thanks to NCL's hand gel policy and 5 star chosen meals we didn't! In fact that was our favourite trip. Absolutely fantastic and well done to ncl. We stayed overnight in the Conrad Hilton with balconies overlooking the Nile. Visited the Pyramids, the Museum of Cairo, the buffet meal on the Nile with belly dancers and entertainment, Memphis and the alabaster sphinx, entered a tomb and so much more. On board, we spent most of our evenings at the shows in the Stardust theatre and in the casino! We bought a limited edition print from Park West which has arrived today. Fantastic holiday.

| Whole cruise was excellent |
Norwegian Jade BCN to BCN Eastern Med 25 Jan 2009. Whole cruise was excellent all staff worked very hard to make our time on board enjoyable. Only one let down and that was the Stardust Theatre, except the magic show, the crew show was the best. Passengers arriving throughout the show ruined the experience. Its about time NCL closed the theatre doors once theshows start. |
