What happened to the cruise credit(s) I've earned before the change?

Your cruise credits have been converted to rewards points. Each cruise night you've taken has been counted as a point and each night in a suite is an additional point. To see your total rewards points and tier status, log in at www.latitudesrewards.com.

How is my tier level impacted with the new programme?

With the new programme you will be in the same tier or a higher tier depending on the total cruise nights you've sailed with us. To see your total rewards points and tier status, log in at www.latitudesrewards.com.

When did the new change take effect?

The new programme was implemented on 05 December 2011. At that point, all cruise credits were converted to Rewards Points.

REWARDS POINTS

What are rewards points?

Rewards points are the points you earn in the new Latitudes Rewards programme. Previously, you earned one cruise credit per cruise whether your cruise was three days or seven days. With rewards points, you get one point per night, which gives more points the longer you sail. You also get additional points when booking in a suite* or The Haven, booking nine months or more in advance or booking with the Latitudes Insider Offer.

How many Rewards Points do I get per cruise?

You will receive one rewards point per night on your cruise.  You earn additional points per night if you book in a suite* or in The Haven, if you book nine months or more in advance or if you book with one of the Latitudes Insider Offers. See Rewards Points information here.

  • Earn 1 additional point per night for reserving a Suite* or in The Haven.

In addition to receiving one point per cruise night, are there other ways to earn rewards points?

Yes. In addition to receiving one Rewards Point per night, you can earn additional points per night if you book in a suite* or in The Haven, if you book nine months or more in advance or if you book with one of the Latitudes Insider Offers. See Rewards Points information here.

When are rewards points applied to my account?

Rewards points for your sailing are applied to your account after you return from your cruise. To see how many points you've earned after your sailing, log in at www.latitudesrewards.com. Points will be applied within 24 hours after your sailing is complete.

Why do I have more rewards points for one cruise than another?

Along with the point per night you earn, if you booked that sailing in a suite* or in The Haven, nine months or more in advance or if you booked with one of the Latitudes Insider Offers you can earn up to an additional three points per night. See Rewards Points information here.

How many points are needed to reach each tier level?

  Silver   20 - 47 points
  Gold   48 - 75 points
  Platinum   76+ points

Milestone gifts are provided for guests who achieve 250, 500, 700 and 1000 points.

Do chartered cruises or cruises with travel agent rates receive rewards points?

Chartered cruises and cruises at travel agent rates do not receive Latitudes Rewards points. Cruises eligible for Latitudes Rewards Points are full tariff cruises taken on Norwegian Cruise Line.

If I cancel a cruise, will I receive Rewards points?

No. Rewards points are applied once a sailing is complete.

I graduated to Platinum after the programme re-launched but did not get a passport wallet.

The past guests we've surveyed when structuring the new programme rated passport wallets as less appealing than others. Therefore, we've replaced the wallets with on board benefits that were more appealing.

What documentation do I need to add a missing cruise to my profile?

To receive credit for a missing cruise, you may be asked to provide eDocs for your cruise, key cards and/or a cruise purchase receipt.

I forgot my username and/or login. How do I retrieve it?

Click www.latitudesrewards.com. When asked for your user name and password, click the ‘Forgot Your User Name or Password' link to retrieve your log in information.

I know I'm a Latitudes Rewards member but I don't see my Latitudes information when I log in. Why and what should I do?

You may not see your Latitudes Rewards information because your log in is associated with a different Latitudes Rewards number. To resolve this:

  1. Click on the Latitudes Rewards link at the top of the page
  2. In the ‘Are You a Latitudes Member?' section, click ‘I Am A Member'
  3. Complete the short form and our Latitudes help desk will merge any multiple Latitudes Rewards numbers you may have. The help desk will respond to all inquiries within 48 – 72 hours.

ENROLLING IN LATITUDES REWARDS

What are the requirements for enrolling into Latitudes Rewards?

To enrol in Latitudes Rewards, you must be over 18 years of age, have sailed with Norwegian Cruise Line or have a future cruise booked.

If I was already a Latitudes Member, am I enrolled in the new programme, Latitudes Rewards?

Yes. All existing members are automatically migrated into the new programme.

Log in or register at www.latitudesrewards.com. From the Account Overview page, click Latitudes Rewards. Then, under the ‘Enroll in Latitudes section', click ‘Yes, Enroll.'

When can I enrol in Latitudes Rewards?

  • If you were already a Latitudes member, you are already enrolled in the new programme.
  • If you have cruised with us before you can enrol at any time.
  • If you have a cruise booked with Norwegian Cruise Line, you can enrol before, during or after your cruise. To enrol during your sailing, visit the internet café onboard and go to www.latitudesrewards.com

If I enrol before or on my cruise, when will I be able to take advantage of the benefits?

Your rewards points will be applied to your account after you have completed your sailing. If your points place you in a new tier, you will be able to take advantage of that tier's benefits on your next sailing.

Log on or register at www.latitudesrewards.com. If you are enrolled you will see your Latitudes Rewards tier, rewards points Balance and Latitudes Rewards number. If you are not enrolled, you will see a link that says ‘Enroll in Latitudes'

Why is it important to use my Latitudes Rewards number every time I book?

Using your Latitudes Rewards number every time you book ensures all your cruise history and rewards points are on one profile for you. Since your rewards points determine your tier level, it also ensures you receive benefits for your tier as well as special offers for Latitudes Rewards members.

Why is it important to use the same Latitudes Rewards number I use to book, when I register online?

Using the same Latitudes Rewards number to register online ensures you see your correct Rewards Points balance, tier level and all your cruise information.

What if I have multiple Latitudes Rewards numbers? Which one do I use?

If you know you have multiple Latitudes Rewards numbers, contact UK Latitudes at uklatitudes@ncl.com or call 08452018926 to get your multiple accounts merged. Once your accounts are merged you will be advised which Latitudes Rewards number to use going forward.

Having one Latitudes Rewards number ensures all your cruise history and rewards points are on one profile for you. Since your rewards points determine your tier level, it also ensures you receive the benefits for your tier as well as offers for Latitudes members.

How did I get in a higher tier?

Previously, you earned one cruise credit per cruise whether your cruise was three days or seven days. When the new program went into effect, rewards points were calculated at one point per night. Based on your cruise history, the conversion from cruise credits to cruise points could have put you in a higher tier based on your total Rewards Points.
