It's time to meet our fleet

We’ve scored something of a hat trick in Europe with a fleet of three big contemporary ships, all built for fun, for freedom and exclusively for NCL Freestyle Cruising.

Your floating resort

At NCL we like big and we like contemporary. Not for their sake alone, but because it gives us more space to give you more of what you want, like a greater choice of restaurants, bars and lounges, versatile staterooms and suites and that extra space for you to be just you.

And while we’re proud to be celebrating our 40th birthday in 2007, you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll be cruising aboard some of the most modern ships in the industry. In fact, all three ships sailing in Europe in 2008 – Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Jade – have joined the fleet in the last three years. And, while we’re talking dates, with the delivery of Norwegian Gem in October 2007, NCL now has the youngest fleet in the cruise industry.

Every ship provides all the style, comfort, leisure and entertainment facilities of your favourite land-based resort with one major difference. We’re going places together.

Yeah, we’ve got that on board too

We don’t like to boast, but we have got everything on board. Everything except a schedule, that is. You can work out in a fitness centre open round the clock, swim in one of the pools, roll the dice in the casino, sing karaoke, catch a Broadway show in the theatre, get a massage or have your nails done in the spa, get a tan and, on board Norwegian Gem, go 10-pin bowling or even rock climbing. Or simply do nothing – phew!

At your service

Service is important, so we like to make sure there’s almost one crew member for every stateroom on board our ships and that’s the highest crew to guest ratio in our class. But you can forget the facts and just enjoy the kind of friendly, easy-going, unobtrusive yet totally professional service that makes a difference to your day.
