Once you’re logged in, you should see a summary of your booked cruise(s). Click the button for “Shore Excursions”. If this button is not clickable, you may need to wait until at least 60 days prior to you cruise date. Once you click through to the Shore Excursions page, you should see each port offering Shore Excursions for every day of your cruise itinerary. Click through each port city to find out more information and pre-book excursions for each guest travelling.

Sample the highlights of San Diego during this guided excursion via air-conditioned motorcoach. Take a city drive to see the Embarcadero, Seaport Village and downtown San Diego. You’ll drive through the magnificent 1200 acre Balboa Park, the nation’s largest urban cultural park. Then onto the seaside village of La Jolla, considered the "Jewel of Southern California." Indulge in free time to shop and explore this affluent, hilly seaside resort community featuring boutiques, restaurants and galleries. Last stop is San Diego’s historic "Old Town" offering the finest in theater, galleries, shops and free, live entertainment. Then choose to head back to your pier or be dropped off near Horton Plaza for further exploration and shopping.

Destination: Panama Canal & Mexican Riviera

Take a journey for approximately 45 minutes to the ancient ruins of Izapa. From its beginning as a small village, Izapa grew into the region’s most influential cultural and commercial center with a population of possibly up to 10,000 people. Izapa brought together many of Mesoamerica’s ancient cultures and many believe it may be the site of origin of the sacred Mayan Calendar; although, much study remains to be done in order to unlock these secrets.


Travel by bus to the Chocolate Discovery, where you’ll be able to watch how the cocoa beans are transformed into chocolate right at the main square. Also, you’ll sample the local cuisine, as well as see a variety of local handcrafts and exotic flowers of the region. Local dances and marimba players will be sharing their skills with lively performances. After a stop at the local historic church, you’ll be on your way back to your ship.


Note: Guests should wear a hat and comfortable shoes. Bring eco-friendly sunscreen and bug repellent. Most areas are not wheelchair accessible.

Experience Puerto Vallarta in all its glory. Travel along the main highway to Old Town, along the city’s cobblestone streets for a stop at City Hall and the Cathedral of the Lady of Guadalupe. Pass the elegant area of Conchas Chinas on your way to the southern end of town. Finally, stop at a charming restaurant for a complimentary beverage before heading to Old Town for some shopping. You’ll be assigned a time to rejoin your coach for the return trip to your ship. You may choose to stay in town on your own or return to your ship.

Travel along the coastline while you learn about the history and culture of Acapulco. Stop at El Mirador, above La Quebrada to enjoy a light snack and a drink. Here, you can admire the world-famous cliff divers as well as a typical Mexican folkloric show. From a vantage point near Las Brisas Hotel, marvel at the incredible beauty of the panoramic landscape and the bays of Acapulco and Puerto Marques. Continue to the outskirts of town and pass by one of the most impressive hotels in the Acapulco Diamante hotel zone, the Acapulco Princess Hotel, constructed to resemble an Aztec Pyramid.


Note: There are approximately 70 steps at La Quebrada to see the cliff divers. Physically challenged guests can enjoy the show from a special terrace.

Welcome to Los Angeles! This LA overview tour begins at the Port of Los Angeles where you'll disembark your ship and join this exciting, fact filled excursion through the highlights of the city. You’ll pass the Los Angeles Coliseum, the University of California, the Museum of Natural History and through the downtown area of Los Angeles. Enjoy a stop at Olvera Street, one of the oldest streets in this lovely city. Here you'll have time to stroll through the local Mexican handicraft shops and cafes.


Upon departure from Olvera Street your drive takes you to Hollywood through one of the main streets, Sunset Boulevard, where you'll have time to see the famous Chinese Theater. This is the location of the hand and foot prints of famous movie stars. Continue on to the famous Farmers Market, where you’ll have free time to purchase lunch (at your own expense) or to shop for gifts or souvenirs. The tour concludes at Los Angeles International Airport. For operational reasons the tour may be altered.

Note: Guests will arrive to the airport by approximately 2:30 pm. This tour is only for guests with domestic flights departing after 5:00 pm and international flights departing after 6:00 pm. Guests are responsible for ensuring their debarkation tours are compatible with their flight departure times. Guests have the option to book their flights through our Premium Air Department to ensure that flight departure times do not interfere with debark tours.

Explore and discover the magnificent city of Cartagena. Begin with a stop at La Popa Monastery, built during the 17th century and dedicated to Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria, patron saint of Cartagena and a colonial museum. Visit a small chapel to see the famous wooden statue of the Virgin, and marvel at the wonderful gold leaf laminated main altar. Continue to San Felipe de Barajas situated outside the walled city for a panoramic view of this monumental fort considered to be the most outstanding feat of Spanish military engineering in the New World.


Continue to Las Bovedas Artisan Center, built as dungeons and as a means of storage. Walk through narrow cobblestone streets and squares inside the walled city. Wander through Plaza de Bolivar which features a statue of its namesake. Visit the Inquisition Palace, established in the year 1610 to punish any crimes against the Catholic faith. You’ll see samples of jails and torture chambers. Next, visit the San Pedro Claver cloister and monastery built in homage to the protector of slaves. Before returning to your ship, take home some souvenirs from the Pierino Gallo shopping center and enjoy panoramic sightseeing through Bocagrande, the modern part of the city.

Your tour begins with a drive along the Embarcadero toward Downtown San Francisco. Continue on Market Street with a photo stop at Twin Peaks and then it’s off to Golden Gate Park and the DeYoung Museum and Gardens. A brief stop will be made near Sutro Baths on the Pacific coast, before continuing past the Palace of the Legion of Honor and along the coastal road to the Golden Gate Bridge. From there you’ll drive past the Cannery, Ghirardelli Square and the lively Fisherman’s Wharf area before returning to your ship.

While the ingenuity of the Panama Canal is world renowned, few know about the amazing history that shaped Panama and this tour invites you to discover it. Enjoy a scenic view of the skyline while traveling to the old Panama City, founded in 1519 and destroyed by the infamous Welsh Captain Henry Morgan in 1671. This scenic excursion takes you to see the ruins of the churches and convents, colonial palaces, bridges and military buildings that attest to the city’s history and grand past.


As you make your way along the coastline, take the opportunity to discover the tales of gallantry and piracy that wait in the narrow streets of Colonial Panama. You’ll walk through the old French Quarter, founded in in 1673 by French colonists. On a leisurely 45 minute walk, you’ll appreciate the many changes of the city by viewing its unique architecture, influenced by a combination of French, Spanish and Italian styles.

Enjoy a visit to the colonial city of Antigua, founded by Spanish conquistadors in the early 16th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll the charming cobblestone streets to visit the Central Plaza, the cathedral, Colonial Museum and the Jade Museum. Lunch is included at a typical Guatemalan restaurant. On the return drive to your ship, enjoy the scenery and great views of the Agua and Fuego (Water and Fire) volcanoes.


Note: Antigua is 5,000 feet above sea level, we recommend participants be in good health. This tour is not suitable for guests with walking disabilities. There is a moderate amount of walking, some level and cobblestone streets. Wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and cash for shopping.

Your sightseeing drive through rolling hills, high mountains, plains, valleys, and riverbeds is just part of the gorgeous landscape that will make you think of paradise. Costa Rica’s topography is one of the world’s most diverse. You’ll start by heading east to Esparza, a town that has become one of the most picturesque in Costa Rica’s Central Pacific region. The central park and its church are emblematic of Costa Rica’s hardworking rural towns.


Local dancers in colorful dresses will greet you at the park and you’ll enjoy masquerades and handmade souvenir exhibitions while you learn about their traditions. Your scenic drive includes some stretches along the Pacific Ocean passing by mango and cashew plantations, farming areas and most certainly seeing some birds along the way, all examples of sustainable living. Take the opportunity to capture unique pictures, while traveling down to sea level, admiring the most breathtaking views.
