Board your open-air safari bus and travel along Skyline Drive as you take in the views of the neighboring islands. At Beacon Point there are breathtaking island views from the observation platform. Stop at Skyline overlook to see the historic harbor of Charlotte Amalie 800 feet above your cruise ship. From Drake’s Seat enjoy views of heart-shaped, palm-fringed Megan’s Bay - one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Continue on to St. Peter Great House and Botanical Gardens, once the haunt of the rich and famous.


This is a magnificent Caribbean estate, featuring stunning views, classic Caribbean architecture and vintage furnishings in a beautiful, tropical setting. Enjoy a refreshing complimentary rum or fruit punch and stroll the lush grounds, perched 1,000 feet above the ocean that is home to more than 100 varieties of tropical fauna. This is a ‘must see’ in the Caribbean. Travel to Mountain Top for the most stunning and panoramic vistas in the Virgin Islands. Bring a camera and photograph the best of St. Thomas.


Note: Guests ending the tour in Charlotte Amalie are responsible for their taxi fare back to the ship. Tours departing in the afternoon do not have the option of remaining in Charlotte Amalie for shopping. There are steps at St. Peter Great House. The Botanical Nature Trail includes two flights of stairs down and two flights of stairs back up. Mountain Top has a flat entry and easy access for those who are mobility impaired.

Port: Roseau, Dominica
Destination: Caribbean & Bahamas

Start with a cultural drive through the Capital of Roseau to the Morne Bruce viewpoint. This point is excellent for photos showing where the capital meets the Caribbean Sea. Next, you'll stop at the Botanical Gardens to see the famous and endangered Sissereau and Jaco parrots in protective cages along with many large trees, exotic flowers and tropical plants. From here, continue towards the interior of Dominica. The drive will help you understand why Dominica is rightfully called the Nature Island of the Caribbean. You will pass a tropical rainforest and many plantations with various fruit trees such as mango, banana, avocado and cacao to name a few.


A stop will be made at Hibiscus Falls and just 30 yards of easy walking will take you to the viewpoint of this waterfall. Here you can take photos and enjoy the surroundings while enjoying a taste of a local Dominican mix of seasonal fruits along with a complimentary rum punch or fruit juice. You can take a short 5 minute walk down to the pool for a quick dip in the refreshing waterfall. After your photos, enjoy a drive down the scenic Layou Valley with its dramatic landscape on your way back to the ship.

You’ll journey to the ancient place of Mayan pilgrimage known today as Chacchoben, also known as "The Place of Red Corn". At the pier, you’ll be greeted by a bilingual guide who will direct you to an air-conditioned bus. Onboard the bus your guide will brief you on the interesting history and unique attributes of this sacred Mayan site. Upon arrival at Chacchoben you’ll be surrounded by jungle. Your guide will escort you through the ruins, giving you a complete explanation of the sacred temples and other structures seen there.


See original red paint on the stucco walls of one of the pyramids and the temple where a mural was found showing the astronomical positions of the planet Venus. You’ll have time to climb the Gran Basamento taking you above tree level. Here archaeologists found ceremonial offerings dating to around 1000 B.C. Your guide will also explain about the wildlife and medicinal plants that are used by the modern-day descendants of the ancient Mayan people.


Note: Tour includes complimentary beverages. There is a government tax of $5-8 US for the use of video cameras at the site. No tripods and/or professional video cameras are allowed. Guests with recent surgeries, heart or respiratory conditions, pregnant women and those with walking difficulties are not allowed to participate. We recommend that you bring insect repellent.

Discover Bonaire’s folkloric culture and history while enjoying the many beautiful natural sites of the island. Along the northern scenic coastline, Bonaire's legendary blue waters are a breath-taking scene of rustic landscape packed with huge cacti and Divi Divi trees. Goto Lake, a natural salt water lake and flamingo feeding ground, is one of the most beautiful spots on the island.


Narrow tree lined country lanes lead to an animal drinking well and later, a stunning overview of the Rincon countryside. You’ll travel through Rincon Village and hear ancient tales of this village built by Spanish explorers in the 14th century.


At the King's Warehouse & Cultural Park guides will meet you in traditional folkloric dress. Here, you can visit replica houses built by Bonaire's early inhabitants. Join an interactive musical presentation and dance to island rhythms. A variety of souvenirs are available for purchase, including locally produced salt products and handcrafted items.


Back on the bus, enjoy a scenic drive with stunning coastline views of crashing waves and the hillside. The last stop, Seru Largo, offers you a spectacular panoramic view of the island. On a clear day, Klein (Little) Curacao can be seen! Your tour concludes with a beautiful drive along the waterfront and the return to your ship.

Return to the Victorian era as you stop at the University of Tampa campus, once the former Tampa Bay Hotel built in 1891 as a palatial resort. This elegant structure stands on 150 acres of lush tropical grounds overlooking the Hillsborough River. The Hotel was built and furnished by railroad tycoon Henry Bradley Plant, recapturing an aura for an opulent Victorian winter resort. This magnificent structure, with its eye catching silver minarets, was modeled after the Alhambra Palace in Granada Spain and is on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1886, Vicente Martinez Ybor bought forty acres of land from local Tampa citizens and began building Ybor City. Thus began this community of factories and small worker’s homes. At the Ybor City State Museum complex, you will pass by an authentically renovated cigar worker’s shotgun house dating from the turn of the century that was the home of early cigar factory workers. A stop will be made in Ybor City and you will learn about the unique society that created the cigar industry, the primary manufacturing industry responsible for the early development of Tampa. Other highlights include a drive along Bayshore Boulevard where you’ll see lovely upscale homes overlooking the Bay and the waterfront area, home to the Tampa Convention Center, Forum, Cruise Terminals, Shoppes at Channelside, the Florida Aquarium and Harbour Island, plus the Sports Complexes that are home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the spring training home of the New York Yankees. Note: This tour is only available for guests with flights after 3:00 pm out of Tampa International Airport. Guests are responsible for ensuring their debarkation tours are compatible with their flight departure times. Guests have the option to book their flights through our Premium Air Department to ensure that flight departure times do not interfere with debark tours.

Discover the natural beauty of Antigua and catch glimpses of island life on this scenic drive across the enchanting island. You will board your air conditioned motor coach and begin your drive through the heart of the city as you head out of St. John’s. Drive through colorful tranquil villages with charming churches and rolling hills, passing tropical plants and trees along the way. Continuing on to the North Sound region, you will pass the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium and drive through the villages of All Saints, Liberta and Falmouth. Make a quick stop for refreshments before continuing through the lush green foliage of Fig Tree Drive, the island’s most picturesque drive and home of Antigua’s tropical forest. Fig is the Antiguan word for banana and you will drive through groves of wild mango, guava, orange, coconut and of course, bananas at every turn. Along this scenic southwest coast to Old Road, Fig Tree Drive climbs up and down hillsides affording breathtaking views. As your island drive takes you back to the ship, you will pass the pineapple fields at Cades Bay and beautiful Darkwood Beach. This island drive will give you a taste of Antigua and will have you wanting to come back for more.

Board your comfortable fast ferry for a 35 minute ride across the Caribbean to the famous resort town of Playa del Carmen , in mainland Mexico. Take an informative, narrated 50 minute ride to Tulum, via an air-conditioned motor coach. On your way to Tulum, you will enjoy a 30 minute restroom/shopping stop at MAYA HA, a local Mayan Cooperative Center. Get ready to witness the evolution of Mexico through pieces of handcrafted art, find souvenirs, collector’s items, clothing and reproductions of ancient Mexican art. Continue on to Tulum, where you’ll be escorted by your English speaking guide, with a 45 to 50 minute narrated overview of the ancient walled Mayan City. Visit the famous castle ruins, situated on a spectacular 40 ft. bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea.


You’ll also admire the Temple of the Frescos known for its detailed carved figures and frescoes, depicting original Mayan paintings and writings, the Temple of the Descending God, the House of Chultun and the House of Columns. Don´t forget to photograph the giant iguanas sunning on temple walls. Experience and photograph the breathtaking views from the towering cliff. After your guided tour, enjoy 90 minutes of free time to relax or explore ruins on your own. At this point you’ll return to Playa del Carmen to board your ferry and return directly to your ship.


Note: There is approximately 1 mile of walking over rocky uneven terrain. Ferry ride across may be rough at times and guests who suffer from motion sickness should take this into account.

This tour takes you to an unforgettable collection of beautiful spots in and around Ocho Rios. You’ll visit the island’s premier attraction, Dunn’s River Falls. It’s a place of unique beauty where the river cascades over a giant limestone staircase to a white sand beach and the warm Caribbean Sea.


Take a guided tour of Konoko Falls and Park, where you’ll be at one with nature and inspired by its natural beauty. Your tour will lead you through the expansive grounds where many photo opportunities await. See the sparkling koi fishponds, natural springs, indigenous birds, animals and its soothing signature waterfall. Visit the small museum that showcases artifacts throughout Jamaica's history.


Discover the lush vegetation of ferns and gigantic trees that form canopies over the roadway on your drive through Fern Gully. A final stop is made in the town for shopping before returning to the ship.

Combine Curacao's countryside with some of the island's most interesting attractions on this tour. Travel into the countryside, passing salt flats and flamingos before arriving at the Hato Caves. This dramatic collection of grottoes is filled with stalactites, stalagmites and crystal-clear pools, centuries in the making. At the foot of the Caves, is the Petroglyph Trail, where, time permitting, you may choose to take a short independent walk, passing an ancient slave shelter and exceptional 1,500 year old religious scenes carved into the rock walls.


Afterwards, you'll head to the Curacao Museum which was founded in 1946, and combines contemporary art with an exhibition of life in 19th century Curacao. During your tour, you'll also enjoy a brief stop at the Chobolobo Liqueur Factory, giving you an ideal opportunity to taste and purchase the locally distilled Curacao liqueur. Cross the Queen Juliana Bridge and catch a glimpse of the wonderful view over Willemstad.

Enjoy a guided drive through one of the most beautiful cities in the Caribbean with its 17th century architecture and historic buildings. You'll have the opportunity to stroll around the grounds of the biggest fortification built by the Spaniards in the New World on your self guided visit to Fort San Cristobal. Come see its Main Plaza, “Garitas” watchtowers and authentic mortor balls. Re-board your bus and continue your guided tour to the New City, which will take you to the Condado District, filled with high-rise condos and luxury resorts.


A stop is made at one of the beautiful beaches and the Capitol Building for pictures. Return to Old San Juan where you'll visit the famous Plaza Colón. Here you may choose to stay to explore the local surroundings and enjoy some shopping or return to the ship. Take a step back in time and enjoy this captivating journey through history.


Note: We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a hat and sunscreen. Due to walking required at the fort, the activity level is substantial. The fort is not wheelchair accessible. There is a steep ramp to access the fort (about 65 paces one way). The first level features the barracks, gun rooms, and video presentation. The next level requires walking up another steep ramp (about 35 paces one way). Accessing the third level observation ports for the best views of the city requires going up another steep ramp (about 65 paces one way). Some of the stops are unguided allowing guests to browse on their own. Traffic in old and new San Juan can be congested. Alternate routes are implemented whenever possible. The stops are unguided allowing guests the leisure to browse on their own. Optional drop off in Old San Juan allows guests to browse, shop and return on their own to the ship.
