After a 30-minute scenic drive to the zipline base camp, you'll be given a safety briefing and outfitted with safety gear which includes your harness system for use on the tour, helmets and gloves. The trek spans eight platforms, each with two experienced guides who provide information on different areas of the eco-system as well as to ensure your safety moving from platform to platform. You'll enjoy beautiful views of the island as well as be informed on the geological formations, which will become apparent. After your time of fun you'll have a short walk back to the base camp for a cool drink before boarding your bus for transportation back to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs. Closed and comfortable footwear is required for this tour. This tour is not for pregnant woman or persons with back, neck or heart problems.

You'll visit the most scenic places in Barbados such as famous Bathsheba and the wonderful National Park at Farley Hill. Then, discover the Platinum West Coast of the Island. You'll drive through the center of the capital, Bridgetown and pass the residences of the Governor General and the Prime Minister. After, pass Gun Hill Signal Station and head to Bathsheba on the rugged East Coast. Bathsheba is well-known as the island's "surfing spot". Many local and regional surfing competitions have been held in the internationally acclaimed "Soup Bowl". Enjoy a refreshing drink while watching the pounding surf of the Atlantic. The next stop is Farley Hill National Park with its great house ruins, vibrant gardens and a spectacular view. Finally, your return will lead you along the West Coast passing through the quaint villages of Speightstown and the Holetown.

Discover the real Barbados above and below, really! Board these specially designed 4x4 vehicles for a scenic drive as your driver guide takes you to some of the more beautiful places around the island and entertains you with his great sense of humor and knowledge of the island. Your first stop is Harrison Cave's dub as one of the ten wonders of the world. Then prepare for an exciting one mile journey onboard an electric Tram through underground caverns of stalactites, stalagmites and fast flowing streams. After, re-board your 4x4 vehicle where you will then venture off-road through Joe's River Forest and its towering trees as we descend onto the East Coast in Bathsheba for refreshments and breathtaking scenery of the unusual rock formations created by the pounding Atlantic Surf. The experience continues cross country some 1000 feet above sea level before you descend on the west coast home to the rich and world famous, Sandy Lane Hotel, before you return to the port. Note: Participants must be at least 5 years of age. Maximum weight allowed is 275 lbs. Some walking and standing is required. Order of tour may change due to prevailing conditions at the time. Prior to boarding the tram at the caves, there is a walk of about 150 feet. Access a glass fronted elevator (3 stories) or walk along a cliff sided boardwalk with steps and inclines to the valley floor where trams are located. At the Cave Interpretative Centre, a short video will be shown prior boarding the trams.

Board a 65-foot high-speed catamaran and sail 16 miles east through the barrier reef and across the channel where you'll enter an undersea world, home to a variety of corals. These coral formations are teaming with schools of colorful tropical fish. After snorkeling, enjoy some rum punch on the short trip to a white-sand island where you'll be able to sunbathe, kayak or enjoy the beach floats. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, guests with back or neck injuries, heart conditions, asthma or any other pre-existing or recurring medical conditions. A 37-mile drive along the Western Highway brings you to the Caves Branch River and its winding path, through the Maya Mountains and numerous ancient caves once inhabited by the Maya. Upon arrival at Caves Branch National Park, your headquarters for the day, your guide will issue floats and headlamps while providing a tour briefing. You'll take a 45-minute hike down a jungle trail where your guide will point out various plants, roots and herbs once used by the ancient Maya for medicinal purposes. Next, reach the entrance tunnel that heads into the underground cave system for the start of an eye-opening adventure. Then, float with gentle currents through the cave system. Enjoy intricate crystalline formations that line the caves, and the majestic rise and fall of stalagmites and stalactites that add to the serene opulence of nature. On several occasions, you'll emerge into the sunlight, only to enter into another cave system. Finally, your tubing tour will end where the hike began. You'll return your equipment and head back to Belize City and the ship. On your way back to the docks a stop will be made for lunch. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and able to swim. The cave system and its waterways may cause claustrophobia in a very small percentage of guests. Wear suitable footwear for muddy, wet trails. Bring your swimsuit.

This fascinating tour focuses on the contrast between the ancient Mayan city of Altun Ha and modern day Belize City, highlighting 1,000 years of development within this former British Colony. Altun Ha (Mayan for 'Rock Stone Water') thrived as a trading post to the Mayan world during the Classic and Post Classic periods. The site was made world-famous by Dr. David Pendergast of the Royal Ontario Museum upon his discovery of the world's largest carved Jade Head, depicting the sun god Kinich Ahau. Note: The Belize City tour portion is conducted on a bus without stops.

A tender transfer to Belize City and an enjoyable boat ride take you several miles inland by way of the scenic Olde Belize River. En route you may see iguanas, several varieties of birds, crocodiles and howler monkeys. At Burrell Boom, a quaint settlement on the riverbank, you'll be served a tasty local lunch with refreshments at The Olde River Tavern, located on the banks of the Olde Belize River. You'll then board your tour bus and drive to Altun Ha (Mayan for 'Rock Stone Water'), where Dr. David Pendergast of the Royal Ontario Museum uncovered the famous jade head Kinich Ahau. Note: Boats are exposed to the elements.

Your guide will hand out headlamps and you'll jump in for a leisurely float on an inner tube, with the gentle currents taking you through the cave system. A short winding trail through thick jungle where you are dwarfed by towering cohune palms takes you to a limestone cliff that is your launching pad to your zip line adventure. Feel the rush as you fly 500 feet across the jungle for a bird's eye view of a cavernous opening to one of the Maya's ancient ceremonial caves and the start point of your next adventure. But this is just the beginning as your next traverse takes you to an unrivalled 700 feet across the jungle, so don't forget to look down onto the dense flora that used to be the Mayan hunting ground and source of almost all their everyday needs. Throughout your adventure, your guides will highlight some of the trees and bushes and the purpose for which these ancient people used them and still do today. Adrenaline pumping and anticipation high, it's time to switch gears from harness to life vests as the second leg of you quest begins. Be prepared to be 'wowed' by this adventure that puts you up close and personal with the unique phenomenon of crystal caves. Your journey begins as you float into a chamber where high ceilings and a stalactite lined wall give the feeling of a cathedral and its mighty pipe organ welcoming you into a sacred place. Crystal encrusted cave formations dazzle you with their beauty as you meander up the river. But this is just a taste of what's to come. As you disembark your tube and enter the crystal chamber to explore the sacred underworld of the Maya, your guide will reveal hidden pottery dating back to 300-900 AD used by the Maya in ancient sacrificial ceremonies. Be prepared as your hike takes you through a tiny passage and you emerge in front of a 'frozen water fall' column and glittering rim stone dam that will take your breath away. Back in your tube, you'll make your way to an underground lagoon boarded by a mini waterfall, which signals the end of your subterranean adventure.
